Screenings will be allowed Dec 6 – 28th.
To host a screening, first you fill out our form below and, based on your responses, we will issue you a “license” to screen the film at a specific location and time.
The screening license fee will vary depending on your expected audience and the scope of your organization.
A screening license for The Gift of Grief includes:
You can host an in-person screening in theaters, community centers, places of worship, libraries, academic institutions, or any venue that can accommodate your audience.
We will provide promotional materials. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to reserve the location and promote the event.
You can also organize a virtual screening and invite your community to participate online at a specific time. You can make this event more powerful by adding time for conversations, Q&A, and dialogues. Joshua, is available to be part of these virtual events for an extra fee.
Once your physical or virtual screening is approved, you can choose to either:
If you decide to sell tickets, the ticket revenue will be split 45/45/10 meaning you will keep 45% of the ticket price, we keep 45% and the platform keeps 10%.
If you decide to use the screening as a fundraiser by purchasing in advance a flat rate license based on your estimated attendance, you will keep the whole revenue. We suggest you use these revenues to support the Palestinian people.
Once the setting is complete, you will receive a private link that will activate at the agreed time to allow you to screen the film.
If your screening is held in a movie theater and you need a DCP, please mention it in the form and request it well in advance of the screening.
A portion of the proceeds will go to our non-profit to support non-profits in the grief space. The other portion will go to bringing this film to a greater audience to create a more grief informed world.
We suggest you use your share of the proceeds to create a more grief informed world by donating to grief non profits or initiatives supporting grief awareness and support.
